2/3 cup honey
1/3 cup applesauce
4 TBS oil
4 cups oats
1 cup chopped nuts/seeds
1 cup cranberries/raisins
4 TBS xylitol
1/2 tsp salt
Directions
- preheat oven to 160c
- mix the honey, applesauce and oil in one bowl (or jug)
- mix the dry ingredients except for the dried fruit
- mix the wet with the dry
- spread thinly onto two baking sheets
- bake for 45-60 minutes until golden brown (I stirred mine several times during the baking too)
- break up and add the dried fruit
- Try not to eat it all at once ;-)

ReplyDeleteWow, granola is certainly doing the rounds at the moment! I couldn't make this though, it'd be like crack to me. I'd put it on everything. Even salads! Great recipe though -- really straightforward. I like that :)
